Jordan Ends Use of Class Heading for Trademark Application

AMMAN - The Jordanian Trademark Office, affiliate to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has recently issued regulations stipulate that the use of class headings in trademark applications will no longer be an accepted practice. The Registrar of Trademark will refuse the application with class heading because each claimed list of goods and/or services should be specified in details to avoid any possible rejection during the examination phase.
This practice will be enforced immediately, and it can affect also all pending trademark applications that are due for examination.
