EPDF Organizes "Universities without Walls' Seminar

AMMAN - Under the patronage of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, chairman of the Economic Policy Development Forum (EPDF), a seminar entitled "Universities without Walls" will be held September 4, 2013 at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum.
The seminar aims to discuss the current educational sector and to enrich the educational process with recommendations and suggestions to face new concepts in this vital sector such as democratization of education and E-education in addition to others.
It is hoped that the seminar will provide some methodologies, alternatives and options that can contribute to improving the outcomes of the educational process and make it more able to adapt to the needs of the labor market, and the challenges of violence at university campus and deficits in the budgets of the universities because of the costs of the campus.
The seminar will be moderated by Dr. Issam Zabalawi and will witness the participation of Dr. Ibrahim Badran who will tackle education for all, labor market. In addition to Dr. Waleed Al Maani will discuss the relationship between the university and society while Dr. Mohammed Abu Qedees will discuss E-learning and Dr. Dyala Qammoh will talk about a proposed model for e-education in her paper “Towards a Web-ucation”.
