TAMPA, Fla. - MagneGas Corporation, a leading energy and technology company that counts among its inventions a patented process that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen-based fuel, announced in a press release that it has filed a provisional patent to blend MagneGas® with existing cutting fuels for the metal working industry.

This latest provisional patent is part of the Company's effort to strengthen and broaden its intellectual property.  In this case, the application is to improve the cutting speed and flame temperature of fuels such as propane, natural gas or other cutting fuels by blending it with MagneGas. The Company believes that the blended gas will compliment and broaden its existing metal cutting business line and will allow expansion into other metal cutting markets.

"Taking advantage of its higher flame temperature, MagneGas intends to work with partners to blend MagneGas® with legacy cutting fuels.  Think of it as a high octane boost for other lower temperature cutting fuels," stated Terry Vernille, Executive Vice President of MagneGas.
