LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers Organization (ICANN org) announced in a press release that it has issued a request for proposal (RFP) to identify one or more Internet service providers for one new ICANN Managed Root Server (IMRS) cluster in the Frankfurt, Germany metropolitan area.

As part of the service provided to the Internet community, ICANN operates one of the 13 root servers of the Internet, the IMRS, which is, also, known as L.ROOT-SERVERS.NET. Through the issuance of this RFP, ICANN org solicits proposals from qualified suppliers for the provision of the services.
Indications of interest should be emailed to IMRS.Cluster.Germany.Conn-RFP@icann.org and provide the following information:

• Company name
• Contact person name
• Contact person e-mail address

Proposals should be electronically submitted using ICANN's sourcing tool by 23:59 UTC on November 3, 2023. Access to this tool may be requested via the same e-mail.
