BEIJING - The High-level Forum on China Intellectual Property Protection 2024 was held in Beijing, with the theme of "Revolution and Sustainability: IPR Advances New Quality Productive Forces", according to the official website of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

Shen Changyu, Commissioner of CNIPA, Tao Kaiyuan, Vice President of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), Shi Weizhong, Permanent Member at the Deputy-Ministerial Class of the Procuratorial Committee of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP), and Mu Peng, Vice Mayor of Beijing attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech respectively. Liu Hua, Director of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Office in China, read a message from Wang Binying, Deputy Director General of the WIPO. The opening ceremony was chaired by CNIPA Deputy Commissioner Hu Wenhui.

During the keynote speech, themed presentation, and industry-academia dialogue events, representatives and experts from relevant ministries, innovative enterprises, and service organizations extensively discussed new ideas and measures for leveraging intellectual property to develop new quality productive forces.

The Forum was organized by China Intellectual Property News and the WIPO Office in China.
