The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will host two back-to-back events in Accra, Ghana, on 9 and 10 December 2025: the Africa Engagement Forum and the Africa Domain Name System (DNS) Forum.
Together, these events bring African stakeholders into dialogue on Internet governance, technical innovation, and the future of the DNS. The Africa Engagement Forum (9 December), hosted by ICANN and the Association of African Universities (AAU), will focus on regional priorities, ICANN updates, and community perspectives.
The Africa DNS Forum (10 December), co-organized with ICANN, Africa Top Level Domains Organization (AFTLD), and AfRegistrar Association, under the theme "Resiliency of the DNS in Africa," will feature technical and business discussions on DNS resilience, registry/registrar services, and innovation.
