LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced that the dedicated website for the ICANN75 Annual General Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is live and registration for the meeting is open, a press release stated by ICANN.

All participants must be pre-registered by September 14, 2022 to attend the meeting in person.

ICANN75 will be held as a hybrid event from September 17–22, 2022. ICANN is committed to ensuring an inclusive Annual General Meeting that provides an equal opportunity for all to engage whether they choose to participate in person or remotely. The meeting schedule will be published on the ICANN website on August 29, 2022.

The health and safety of all community members and staff who wish to come together in person at ICANN75 continues to be ICANN's top priority and ICANN is mindful that the pandemic and geopolitical situation can change rapidly. Therefore, ICANN is closely monitoring relevant national and international public health guidance from the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Malaysian government. ICANN is also in close cooperation with local authorities and entities such as the meeting venue (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre), the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau, local government officials and partner hotels that support the event.

ICANN strives to ensure that community members and staff gathering in person at ICANN75 can do so in a safe and healthy environment. Therefore, ICANN will be setting and enforcing the same high standards implemented for ICANN74, including, but not limited to:

• All attendees are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated and up to date against COVID-19, which, in most cases, includes booster shot(s)
• Daily temperature checks and verbal health screenings
• Physical Distancing measures
• Contact tracing measures
• Mask wearing while indoors, as required by Malaysian law
• Enhanced venue cleaning and contact safety measures
• Enhanced food service handling and safety for catered services

The app is mandatory for entry and will be verified by the airline prior to arrival in Malaysia. It is recommended to download the app and complete the required documentation at least one week in advance of your trip.
