Libya’s National Planning Council Honors Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh with "First-class Shield of Giving"

AMMAN - Libya’s National Planning Council awarded HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), the First-class Shield of Giving, that was presented by the Council’s Chairman, HE Dr. Muftah Al-Harir. 

Dr. Al-Harir stated that the honoring comes in recognition of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s contribution to the preparation of studies that identify the objectives, policies, and strategies of economic and social development in Libya, as well as the investment in natural, human and financial resources and potentials to maximize their benefit.

Dr. Al-Harir expressed his pride in the trust and support provided by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, referring to the deep-rooted brotherly relations between the Libyan and Jordanian peoples. He also stressed that Libya highly commends cooperation between the Jordanian academic and scientific institutions with their Libyan counterparts, which embodies the participatory concept for supporting the youth who represent hope for positive change in their countries.

For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his gratitude and appreciation for receiving such an honor, stating that TAG.Global’s contribution through its expertise and services to Libya’s development is an ‘Arab and national duty’.  

He affirmed that the Organization spares no efforts for helping the Libyan people to overcome the challenges and the obstacles the educational and economic systems, as well as the business environment Libya is facing.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, further, emphasized TAG.Global’s keenness to cooperate with all Libyan institutions to contribute to the development of national programs that serve all segments of society, in addition to strengthening cooperation with the Council as a partner in addressing various challenges.
