MUNICH - This precautionary measure, decided by the President of the European Patent Office (EPO) and as published in the Official Journal, is taken pending further discussions with the EPO’s member states, according to the official website of EPO.
Following publication of the 14th EU package on sanctions against Russia through Council Regulation (EU) 2024/1745, the EPO stays requests for unitary effect filed or co-filed by Russian patent holders falling under the scope of this sanctions package until further notice.
