LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced the individuals selected to participate in the NextGen@ICANN Program at the ICANN82 Community Forum. An independent committee selected the NextGen@ICANN82 participants based on their current studies and interest in Internet governance, a press release stated by ICANN. 

The ICANN82 Community Forum will be held in Seattle, Washington, US, March 8–13, 2025, as a hybrid meeting to accommodate both in-person and virtual participation.

The 12 NextGen@ICANN participants attend universities in the North American region where they study engineering, political science, technology, and other relevant subjects.
