CANBERRA - Australia IP TM Checker helps users discover if a word or logo is potentially available for trademark registration in Australia. It’s powered by an artificial intelligence-assisted check that gives an initial overview of how distinctive or similar a trademark might be, according to the official website of Australia IP.
Following a successful pilot phase, the free tool has been moved from its former standalone site to its website, making it easier to find and use.
Australia IP has also improved the TM Headstart application process in its Online Services portal by adding the option of performing a TM Checker search. Plus, it is using details provided by customers to automatically pre-fill sections in their Online Services application – saving valuable time and effort.
These improvements illustrate IP Australia’s commitment to excellent customer experience, supported by modern digital products and systems.
To make the integration as smooth as possible, any current links to the TM Checker webpage will be automatically redirected (for six months) to the new location.
