LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced an extension of the application deadline for the NextGen@ICANN program for the ICANN83 Policy Forum. Prospective applicants now have until January 24, 2025, to submit their applications, according to the official website of ICANN.

This program invites regional university students passionate about the future of the Internet to participate in the ICANN83 Policy Forum. ICANN83 is set to take place in Prague, Czech Republic from June 9 – 12, 2025. Should the event transition to a virtual format, all NextGen@ICANN activities will be conducted online.

If you are an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student between the ages of 18 to 30 and living and studying in the European region, you may be eligible for the NextGen@ICANN program.

The application period for the NextGen@ICANN program will close on January 24, 2025, with selected candidates to be announced on February 24, 2024, via the ICANN website.
