LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced that registration is now open for the Asia Pacific (APAC) Domain Name System (DNS) Forum 2025. The event will take place as a hybrid event from May 8 – 9, 2025, at the InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 in Hanoi, Viet Nam, according to the official website of Corporation. 

Organized by ICANN, with the Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) serving as the local host, the APAC DNS Forum 2025 will convene DNS industry practitioners and experts from the APAC region to learn about essential topics, connect, and share best practices. This year's theme is "An Inclusive Internet–Connecting People, Empowering Our Future." Among the topics to be discussed by industry players and subject matter experts is the New gTLD Program: Next Round, the DNS industry landscape and business opportunities, as well as Internet governance processes and DNS security threats. The block schedule is now available on the APAC DNS Forum website.

The APAC DNS Forum 2025 will be co-located with the 2025 Contracted Parties (CP) Summit and Universal Acceptance (UA) Day 2025. This is the first time that ICANN is co-locating a global event (the CP Summit) with a regional event (APAC DNS Forum). This approach will help us reach a broader audience, minimize planning and logistics activities, and benefit from financial economies of scale.

The CP Summit will commence from May 5 – 7, 2025, while UA Day, held as part of the Forum, will take place on May 8, 2025. A networking session on the evening of May 7, 2025, will kick start the Forum.

One-time registration will provide access to all sessions, including the CP Summit, UA Day, Forum, as well as pre-event webinars that ICANN will hold in March and April, to enable attendants to get the most out of the APAC DNS Forum 2025.
