LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) published its fiscal year 2025 (FY25) second-quarter (Q2) management financial results. ICANN has also published the FY25 Q2 management financial results for its Public Technical Identifiers (PTI) affiliate, a press release stated by ICANN.
Funding through December 2024 was slightly higher than budget, driven by higher-than-planned new generic top-level domain (gTLD) transactions, and flat to the previous year through the same period.
ICANN Operations expenses through December 2024 were flat to budget and lower than the same period last year, driven by the actions ICANN has taken to improve its financial sustainability.
ICANN's quarterly financial results include ICANN Operations and other segments such as the New gTLD Program, the ICANN Grant Program, and projects funded by the Supplemental Fund for the Implementation of Community Recommendations.
