LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is reopening the Expressions of Interest period for members of the 2025 Nominating Committee (NomCom) Standing Committee, a press release stated by ICANN.

ICANN is reopening the Expressions of Interest period as the number of applicants received during the initial Expressions of Interest period (December 10, 2024, to December 23, 2024) from candidates interested in serving as a member of the 2025 NomCom Standing Committee was insufficient to conduct a thorough assessment. The reopening of the Expressions of Interest period aims to provide an opportunity for additional candidates to apply, allowing for a more comprehensive evaluation and selection process.

Expressions of Interest should be sent no later than March 14, 2025. A suggested form for submitting an Expression of Interest is available.
