LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will begin taking applications for its Community Childcare Grants Program for ICANN84, which takes place October 25–30, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland. The grants program facilitates the in-person participation of community members with young children at ICANN Public Meetings and other ICANN events, a press release stated by ICANN.

Grants of up to $750 per family are available for ICANN Public Meeting participants with children 12 years old or younger who meet the criteria and will incur expenses associated with babysitting or childcare services. There will be no on-site meeting or conference-sponsored childcare services during ICANN84.

The deadline to apply for the ICANN84 childcare grant is Friday, September 12, 2025, at 23:59 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The application form is available on the dedicated webpage.
