LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers - ICANN-Board-convened Root Server System (RSS) Governance Working Group (GWG) is proposing a Functional Model developed over years of deliberations in response to Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC) advice. This document describes the RSS Governance Structure and provides recommendations on how to implement it, a press release stated by ICANN. 

The RSS GWG is soliciting feedback in advance of submitting its report to the ICANN Board, RSSAC, and other stakeholders.

Submissions Closing Date: Monday, September 22, 2025.
