GNSO Seeks Input on Process for the ICANN Board to Reverse Adoption of Policy

LOS ANGELES - The Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council is proposing a process for the ICANN community's consideration to enable the ICANN Board to reconsider a previously adopted policy recommendation from the GNSO, according to the official website of ICANN.
The GNSO is now seeking community input on the proposed updates to its Policy Development Process Manual and the GNSO Guidance Process Manual to ensure the updates strike the right balance of necessary flexibility and appropriate guardrails.
Submissions Opening Date: Thursday, November 20, 2025.
Submissions Closing Date: Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
