LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has published its fiscal year 2026 (FY26) second quarter (Q2) management financial results. ICANN also has published the FY26 Q2 management financial results for its affiliate, Public Technical Identifiers (PTI), according to the official website of ICANN.
Funding for ICANN Operations through December 2025 was higher than budget and higher than the same period in the previous year, driven by higher-than-planned domain name transactions, registrar accreditation, and application fees.
ICANN Operations expenses through December 2025 are lower than budget and flat to the same period last year. The variance to budget is largely driven by lower-than-planned headcount.
ICANN's quarterly financial results include ICANN Operations and other segments such as the New gTLD Program, the ICANN Grant Program, and projects funded by the Supplemental Fund for the Implementation of Community Recommendations.
