WIPO Singapore Participates in Opening Ceremony of SG IP Mentorship Program

SINGAPORE - The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Singapore Office was pleased to participate in the fun and vibrant opening ceremony of the SG IP Mentorship Program, an initiative jointly supported by the IPOS Society and Licensing Society Singapore, to strengthen friendships, co learning, and cohesion within Singapore’s IP ecosystem, according to the official website of WIPO. 

The 4-month SG IP Mentorship program saw an overwhelming response of over 25 pairs of mentors and mentees, comprising experienced IP professionals and emerging practitioners, with the aim of fostering knowledge exchange, professional development, and a strong sense of community within the IP sector. The opening ceremony set an energetic and collaborative tone for the journey ahead, highlighting the importance of mentorship as a cornerstone for building sustainable IP capabilities.

WIPO Singapore’s participation reflects its continued commitment to capacity building, talent development, and ecosystem engagement in the region. By engaging with local partners and the IP community, WIPO Singapore helps bridging global IP frameworks with local needs, nurturing the next generation of IP leaders while strengthening Singapore’s own role as a hub for innovation and intellectual property in Asia.
