LOS ANGELES - New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLD) Program: 2026 Round applicants have until 23:59 UTC on August 12, 2026, to submit their applications. Applicants are encouraged to submit as soon as possible to ensure they meet the deadline, according to the official website of ICANN.
The gTLD evaluation fee must be received by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) no later than 23:59 UTC on August 19, 2026. Applicants are highly encouraged to test payment processing in the TLD Application Management System (TAMS) prior to submitting the evaluation fee. Applicants can find more details here.
While preparing an application, applicants can direct questions to globalsupport@icann.org. Once an application is submitted, applicants can use the inquiry function within TAMS to ask questions related to a specific application.
