LOS ANGELES - The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has published the Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26), which ended on June 30, 2026, according to the official website of ICANN.
The Annual Report describes ICANN's progress toward its Bylaws obligations and Strategic Objectives. The report also provides updates on the status of ICANN's accountability reviews, its transparency mechanisms, and its efforts to encourage diversity.
In FY26, ICANN reached one of its most significant operational milestones in recent years with the launch of the New Generic Top-Level Domains Program: 2026 Round. The year also marked the start of the ICANN Strategic Plan for FY26–30. Collectively, ICANN's achievements in FY26 demonstrate its ongoing commitment to multistakeholder decision-making, digital inclusion, and the security, stability, and resiliency of the Internet's unique identifiers.
The ICANN Bylaws indicate that the Annual Report and audited financials must be published no later than 120 days after the end of the fiscal year. The organization previously announced the publication of the FY26 audited consolidated financial statements for both ICANN and its affiliate Public Technical Identifiers.
